Hello all….. just winding down from a great competition in Cottage Grove, WI.
Would like to say that I tried a new presentation for my chicken, the flavor and moistness was spot on but the skin was a little tough, I knew this even before I turned it in…. now that I have that in mind it will not happen again and I am looking forward to present this same chicken again in 3 weeks!! 15th – 22
The ribs I must say turned out phenomenal, did a nice dry rub with a little basting. the Ribs took 3rd place!!
All in all a great day of cooking overall placement was 6th.
One thing to remember is that the learning process is never over and I have found several things to make improvements on! Because afterall, improvement is the key to success!!
